Privacy Policy
Last updated: 11 October 2026
This policy explains what personal data ProxyKite ("ProxyKite", "we") collects when you use our website and Service, why, and what choices you have. Contact us at support@proxykite.com with any question.
1. Data we collect
Account data
Your name, email address, password (stored only as a secure hash), time zone, team members you invite, and settings you choose.
Device and proxy data
Information the agent reports about your machines and dongles so the Service can work: host name, IP addresses, modem model, firmware, IMEI/serial, mobile network, signal, SIM details you enter, proxy settings, and traffic counters (bytes in and out per dongle). SMS messages on your SIMs are read from the dongle when you open them in the panel.
Traffic insights (off by default)
If you switch on Traffic insights for a proxy, the agent records which domains it connects to. Full records stay on your own machine; the panel only keeps hourly summaries (top domains and connection counts). We never record page contents, form data or passwords passing through your proxies.
Usage and security logs
Sign-in times, IP addresses and browser type, actions in the panel (audit log), and API requests, kept to protect accounts and fix problems.
Payment data
Payments are processed by Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record. Paddle collects your card or payment details and billing address under its own privacy policy; we never see or store your full card number. We receive your subscription status, quantity, country and invoice references.
2. How we use it
- to provide the Service: run your proxies, rotation, limits, alerts and API;
- to bill you and handle refunds (with Paddle);
- to send service emails such as alerts, renewal reminders and password resets;
- to keep the Service secure, prevent abuse and meet legal obligations;
- to answer your support requests.
We do not sell your personal data and we do not use it for advertising.
3. Legal basis
We process data to perform our contract with you, to meet legal obligations, and for our legitimate interests in running a secure service. Where we rely on consent (such as Traffic insights), you can withdraw it at any time by switching the feature off.
4. Who we share it with
- Paddle.com — payments, tax and invoicing;
- Hosting and email providers — servers that run the panel and cloud router, and the service that delivers our emails;
- Authorities — only when required by law or to protect our rights and users.
Our providers may process data outside your country, including in India and the United States, with appropriate safeguards.
5. Retention
We keep account data while your account is open. Traffic counters and hourly summaries are kept for a limited period and then deleted. After you close your account we delete or anonymise your data within 90 days, except records we must keep for tax, accounting or legal reasons.
6. Security
We use HTTPS everywhere, hash passwords, encrypt stored dongle passwords, restrict server access, and log administrative actions. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password.
7. Cookies
We use only essential cookies: a session cookie to keep you signed in and a security (CSRF) cookie. Your light/dark theme choice is stored in your browser. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
8. Your rights
You can access, correct, export or delete your personal data, and object to or restrict some processing, by emailing support@proxykite.com. Most account data can also be changed in the panel. You may complain to your local data-protection authority.
9. Children
The Service is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
10. Changes
We may update this policy and will show the new date at the top. Significant changes will be notified by email or in the panel.
